Coming out of Denver Colorado, TalKBox is a band known for their unique blend of rock, blues, and jam music. The band was formed in the early 2020s and through some changes, has been groovin' and having fun ever since. Come and See! Kevin Dooley - Guitar, Vocals

Kevin, originally from Chattanooga, Tennessee, joined TalkBox in the spring of 2024, bringing a fresh voice on lead guitar. With over 25 years of playing experience, his style draws inspiration from classic southern rock legends like the Allman Brothers Band and Lynyrd Skynyrd, as well as the improvisational flair of Jerry Garcia and Trey Anastasio. In addition to guitar, Kevin is an accomplished bluegrass banjo player and has also taken up pedal steel guitar, adding even more depth to his musical toolkit.

Paul Trunko - Bass, Vocals

Paul has been teaching and performing in the Colorado music scene since moving from St. Louis, Missouri 1985. He has been on the faculty and staff at Swallow Hill Music Association in Denver, Colorado for last 30 years. Growing up playing in rock bands, he was drawn to the songs that a lot of groups were covering and where they came from. Roots Music, Blues, Folk has been at the heart of his musical projects ever since, as well as added ideas of improvising, singing and songwriting. Spending 8 years as bandleader with blues/rock band The Keepers. Moving on to play with Colorado front range Grateful Dead oriented bands One Kind Favor and Shakedown Street, sharing the stage with guest musicians Melvin Seals, Vince Welnick, Tom Constanten, Rob Wasserman, Buddy Cage and others. Paul has produced 4 albums with the animated band Jammy Man. More info at his homepage.

Tim, a Denver Native, started TalkBox in the winter of 2020 with a vision of playing rock and blues music in the greater Denver metro area. Tim has been playing Guitar, Bass and Drums since the age of 4. Heavily influenced by The Allman Brothers, Jimi Hendrix, SRV, Van Halen, Robin Trower, Grateful Dead, Free, Dire Straits and Mountain. Tim is also one of the vocalist and songwriters in the band providing soulful vocals and melodic Rhythm guitar playing.
